[Excellent] Coalport (UK) "Batwing" Cobalt – Set of 3 Small Saucers/Small Plates

Description

A set of three small saucers featuring the "Batwing" pattern, crafted by the renowned British porcelain manufacturer, Coalport.

The design showcases a deep cobalt blue background adorned with symmetrical gilt motifs reminiscent of bat wings.

In late 19th-century British porcelain, this style—which required an extensive and intricate gilding process—was reserved for high-end, luxury lines, marking it as a design of significant prestige.

Even today, it remains a signature pattern, instantly recognizable as a hallmark of Coalport’s distinguished quality.

Though compact in size, these pieces are rich in detail, featuring the striking contrast of cobalt and gold, complemented by delicate floral motifs—embodying the refined elegance characteristic of Coalport.

These versatile pieces can be used as small plates for serving sweets, as trays for accessories, or simply as decorative display items.

Sets of three are rarely found together, making this an excellent addition to any collection.
