Bonsai Tree Mame Dwarf Wisteria Sinensis Kofuji Small Leaf
Highly sought after, rare Dwarf Chinese Wisteria ('Kofuji'), also known in Japan as the "Blind Wisteria" due to its highly prized, unique status. This exceptional specimen features spectacular, naturally miniaturized foliage with leaflets measuring only approx. 10mm (1cm) long, keeping it perfectly in scale for miniature bonsai, Mame or Shohin.
The Wisteria 'Kofuji' is a true miniature cultivar highly prized by bonsai enthusiasts for its incredible foliage to trunk scale. It naturally produces tight internodes, compact branching, and ultra small 10mm leaves.
Colloquially called "Blind Wisteria," this ultimate collector's prize invests most of its energy into lush, tight miniature foliage rather than heavy blooming. However, when an established 'Kofuji' does flower, it rewards the grower with exceptionally rare, highly proportional, short clusters of deep purple and lavender blooms that perfectly match its micro scale.

A healthy specimen, this miniature bonsai demonstrates excellent balance structure, making it a standout piece for any quality bonsai collection. Despite its compact size, it is rich in character and presence.

The tree is planted in a glazed Chinese bonsai pot and finished with brown Jagged edge pebbles and natural moss, creating a harmonious and understated presentation that complements the flowers beautifully.

A fine example of Wisteria bonsai, ideal for discerning collectors and enthusiasts who value subtle detail, and refined aesthetics.
