Noritake RC "Courtney"  6520  -  Cup & Saucer (duo).

This discontinued pattern of gold & white scrolls, with gold trim (see 1st to 5th photos) was produced by Noritake in Japan between 1964 and 1980.

The cup measures 8.6cm. (3 3/8") dia. at the top,  6.4cm. (2 1/2") dia. at the base, 6.9cm. (2 5/8") height.

The saucer measures 15.3cm. (6") dia., 1.8cm. (5/8") height.

The cup and saucer are in good condition, with no chips, no cracks, no hairline fractures, no repairs, no crazing, no stains, no pattern wear, minimal wear to the gold trim and minimal scratching to the glaze.

The bases of the cup and saucer are backstamped (see 6th & 7th photos) "Noritake, N, R, Japan, 6520, Courtney", U.S. Design Pat. 201508", with laurel leaves around the "N".
