Up for sale is an authentic vintage British 9ct yellow gold classic D-shape wedding band, fully and officially hallmarked to Birmingham. Worth noting is its substantial 6mm width and a personalised historic engraving on the interior of the band.

Description & Condition:
This ring has benefitted from a fresh, light surface polish. The set of hallmarks on the inner band remains deeply struck, perfectly crisp, and fully legible.
- Band & Geometry: The band has a very slight oval irregularity when viewed vertically, which does not affect its comfort or appearance whatsoever when worn on the hand.
- Surface State: The ring has been cleaned and polished but intentionally not heavily buffed or ground down. Because of this, it retains a brilliant shine while carefully preserving its authentic vintage character, showing minor surface marks and wear commensurate with age.
- Shank: There are some vertical lines to the inside, example as pictured, which do not reach the outer side - it is uncertain whether these are stress related. Please see pics. The yellow gold band maintains a uniform thickness throughout the shank.
