Gorgeous sterling silver, guilloche and true fired enamel singing bird box crafted by Karl Griesbaum (Germany) circa 1934. The mechanism was recently gone through including a full rebuild of the leather covered wooden bellows by Troy Duncan (restoring expert of Singing Bird Boxes Youtube Channel) and it plays perfectly as the video demonstrates. Highly colorful bird and a nice, sweet bird song. There is some slight damage to the enamel case but the hand painted enamel lid does not have any damage. My mother and family have had this bird box for around 40 years.
