Original 1979 Soviet-era precision laboratory balance, believed to have been manufactured by KMZ (Krasnogorsk Mechanical Plant) in the USSR.
The balance is clearly dated 1979 on the beam and carries the distinctive Soviet factory emblem. The beam is also marked:
