Rare vintage Soviet USSR ceremonial presentation banner dedicated to the Riga Production Association of Building Materials.

An impressive double-sided red silk banner featuring a portrait of Vladimir Lenin, Soviet symbols, gold-coloured lettering and decorative gold fringe.

Front Side:

Features a large portrait of Vladimir Lenin surrounded by laurel leaves, together with the Russian inscription:

“РИЖСКОЕ ПРОИЗВОДСТВЕННОЕ ОБЪЕДИНЕНИЕ СТРОИТЕЛЬНЫХ МАТЕРИАЛОВ”

Translation: “Riga Production Association of Building Materials.”

Reverse Side:

Features the Soviet hammer and sickle emblem with decorative laurel branches and the inscription:

“Победитель социалистического соревнования вспомогательных цехов”

Translation: “Winner of the Socialist Competition of Auxiliary Workshops.”

The upper section carries the famous Soviet slogan:

“Пролетарии всех стран, соединяйтесь!”

“Workers of the world, unite!”
