One of Ray Charles’ landmark recordings on an original ABC-Paramount 7½ IPS stereo reel.

Released in 1962, Modern Sounds in Country and Western Music was a groundbreaking meeting of country, soul, gospel and pop. Ray completely reimagined country standards as his own, including the massive “I Can’t Stop Loving You.” It remains one of the defining albums of his career.

This tape has been play-tested from beginning to end and sounds great.

Original clear ABC-Paramount reel with blue factory label. Tape and reel present very nicely.
