This is a charming vintage Napier silver plate clown head still bank, marked NAPIER PAT. 179,765 with the copyright symbol on one of the looped feet.

The cap is held on with a slotted screw on the side and lifts off completely to remove coins, and the bank is complete with both pieces present. It shows honest age with tarnish and patina throughout, some plating wear, and light surface marks consistent with age, and the seam where one ear joins the head is visible, as shown in the close-up photo. It could be polished to a bright shine or left with its vintage patina. A fun piece of mid-century Americana for bank collectors, Napier collectors, or anyone who loves clown decor.
