Framed 2005 exhibition poster featuring a black-and-white photograph by Bay Area photographer Joseph A. Blum from his long-running documentation of the construction of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge.
The poster is titled “A View From The Bridge” and reads along the bottom: “Documenting the Construction of the Bay Bridge • Photographs by Joseph A. Blum • The Photo Center • San Francisco • July 2005.”

His bridge photography was later exhibited at major Bay Area institutions, and examples of his work are held in the Bancroft Library.
This specific 2005 “A View from the Bridge” poster is also documented in the San Francisco Poster Collection, which identifies Joseph Blum as the photographer and describes it as documenting Bay Bridge construction.
