Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM ultra-wide-angle lens being sold strictly for parts / repair.

This lens suffered significant accidental impact damage and the rear section has separated from the main lens body.

I have photographed the damage in considerable detail so that anyone experienced in camera/lens repair can see exactly what is being offered.

There are several visibly damaged/disconnected internal ribbon/flex cables, and the rear mount/electronic section is separated from the main lens body. There may be other damage that I cannot identify, so please assume that the lens requires proper repair and is not currently usable.

I have not attempted to reconnect, solder or repair anything.

The positive side is that a large amount of the original lens remains present and may be useful either as a repair project or as a donor for parts.

The zoom/focus mechanisms still move mechanically, but this should not be taken as confirmation that the lens would operate once reassembled.

The front and rear optical elements shown appear intact to me, but please study the detailed photographs carefully and make your own assessment.

This is aimed at somebody experienced in lens repair, electronics or anyone looking for donor parts from an EF-S 10-22mm USM.
