Vintage Mid-Century Christmas & New Years Holiday Card featuring a relief illustration printed directly onto a thin sheet of genuine copper.
Design features a traditional African village scene with thatched-roof huts beneath balancing boulders, with a woman carrying a water vessel upon her head.
The print is signed "RHODESIA" in the lower right corner, indicating it was produced prior to 1980 in the region that is now Zimbabwe.
Copper plate measures approximately 5" x 3".
Card measures 6" x 4" folded; 12" x 4" when opened.
Card stock has foxing, and there is some wear on the copper plate as shown in the image, along with a slight crease on the left side of the plate.
