A fantastic original Solido No. 100 Jaguar Le Mans D-Type racing car, a highly collectible early French diecast model dating from approximately the late 1950s / circa 1957–1960.

Produced by renowned French model manufacturer Solido, this model formed part of the classic Solido 100 Series and represents the legendary Jaguar D-Type, one of the most recognisable sports racing cars of the 1950s.

The casting captures the distinctive aerodynamic styling of the 1954–1955 Jaguar D-Type, including its streamlined racing body and famous stabilising tailfin positioned behind the driver.

Please note that the original driver figure is present but is currently loose inside the car and is not fixed to the cockpit/cab. It has been left exactly as found rather than being re-glued. The new owner could easily reattach/re-stick the driver into position if preferred, or leave it loose to preserve the model in its current state.

The model is in used vintage condition, showing age-related wear, marks and paint loss consistent with its considerable age. Please study all photographs carefully for the exact cosmetic condition.
