Greco 1980 BB-1000 Refinished White Electric Guitar Shipping From Japan
We have received a 1980 Greco BB-1000.
This is a copy of the B.C. Rich "Bitch" model.
This specific unit features a standard 6-string configuration (without the extra "mockingbird-style" strings found on some versions).
It features a neck-through construction and is equipped with two pickups—believed to be early Bill Lawrence L-500s.
The control layout is packed with features: master volume, neck pickup volume, master tone, booster volume, overdrive volume, a rotary switch, booster switch, overdrive switch, phase switch, and individual dual-sound switches for each pickup.
It runs on two 9V batteries, and the circuitry is fully functional.
The frets and nut have been replaced, improving playability; while it has been refinished, it remains a rare item.
The original serial number ("J806590") is still faintly visible on the back of the headstock.
A non-original gig bag is included.
