An original diary. It has writing for 1883. On one page it mentions Edward Hart.    I think around seventy percent of the pages have writing. In one area it looks like it says,........Went to Cortland to day with Hank took five calf and two tubs of butter got some pear trees and grape vine..........................   

The diary has some wear and stain marks.
