William Scott in Edinburgh use very high quality materials and the business, established in 1937, is one of the premier sporran makers.

Sporran is in very good condition for its age, although there is some minor damage on the red leather trim below the cantle (see photos).  There are also some minor scratches on the cantle but neither of these are noticeable when on. 

The cantle is stamped 'Made in Scotland' - see photos, the marking is a little faded in places but still legible.  

Buy yourself an authentic, vintage Scottish handmade sporran with a history and that is made to last, rather than the cheap sporrans made overseas that are flooding the market.
