An incredible original production wardrobe piece from Yellowjackets, consisting of a heavily distressed pair of pants assigned to Teen Mari Ibarra, portrayed by Alexa Barajas.
One of the coolest aspects of this piece is the extensive production-applied aging and distressing. The pants have been deliberately weathered with heavy brown/black staining, fading, grime effects, frayed hems, worn pocket edges and other distressing to create the dirty, deteriorated appearance of clothing worn by the survivors in the wilderness.
Rather than being a clean piece of wardrobe, these have the heavily lived-in wilderness look that is so distinctive to Yellowjackets. The wear, dirt effects and deterioration are part of what makes the piece especially visually interesting as a production collectible.
Most importantly, the inside retains its original handwritten production wardrobe label reading “TEEN MARI,” directly attributing the pants to the teenage version of Mari.
These were acquired as part of the Yellowjackets production wardrobe liquidation in Vancouver, alongside character-labeled clothing, jewelry and accessories from the series.
The pants remain exactly as acquired from production and have not been cleaned, preserving the extensive aging, staining, distressing and other production details.
A fantastic opportunity for a Yellowjackets collector to own an especially characterful piece of original wilderness wardrobe associated with Teen Mari.
Provenance: Acquired from the Yellowjackets production wardrobe liquidation in Vancouver, BC.
Please note: The original production label identifies these pants as Teen Mari wardrobe. Unless a specific scene is independently screen-matched, they are being represented as production wardrobe assigned to Teen Mari rather than claiming a particular on-screen appearance.
