Epson V700 Photo – Modified Film Scanner with AR Glass & Magnetic Holders Price: €699, open to offers For sale is my Epson Perfection V700 Photo, modified specifically for film scanning, with matching glass accessories and magnetic film holders. The original scanning bed has been replaced with a modular metal panel fitted with removable, high-transmission anti-reflective glass. According to the modification provider, the internal lens focus was also calibrated to match the new panel. The setup offers two scanning options: • With the glass installed: convenient for capturing film borders and edge markings. • With the scanning-bed glass removed and magnetic film holders fitted: removes an additional glass layer from the scanning path to help get the most detail from the film. An interesting option for film photographers who want to scan their own work and have more flexibility in how they position and scan their film. The scanner shows signs of use and modification; please refer to the photos for its cosmetic condition. About the sample images: Images labelled “V700 Raw,” “X5 .fff,” or similar are comparison examples supplied by the original seller/modification provider, showing the modified V700 setup alongside a Hasselblad Flextight X5. Scan samples without these labels were made by me using the exact scanner offered here. The comparison images are for reference and do not establish performance under standardized test conditions.
