Offered for sale is an MTH Electric Trains 50-1002 DCS Remote Control handheld in EXCELLENT condition.
The remote powers on correctly and the LCD display clearly shows:

The cosmetic condition is especially clean. The case, LCD screen, buttons and keypad show very little visible wear, and the photographs provide an excellent representation of the actual condition.
This is the classic MTH handheld controller used with the Digital Command System (DCS), giving operators direct access to locomotive speed, direction, sound, smoke, lighting and advanced Proto-Sound functions.

Why This Remote Is Useful
The MTH DCS Remote is the traditional handheld interface for the DCS command-control system.
Unlike conventional transformer operation, DCS allows multiple equipped locomotives to share the same track while being controlled independently for speed, direction, sound and special effects.
For operators who prefer a dedicated physical controller instead of a phone or tablet interface, the original 50-1002 remains a highly practical and familiar DCS control option.
