Condition and Provenance:

The patch was found along with other 1950's items from a Scout from the Philippines, who moved through Hawaii, to Calif, and ended up in t he upper Midwest.  Merit badge documents in the bunch show he began in the 1950s.  

It is woven, and has no glue, no staple marks, etc.    Please see the scans for details on how much wear or fraying there is.  The white areas look a little either age yellowed or grimy.  I have not tried to clean the item.  I am not an expert and want to preserve it.

The item is difficult to find.  None show up in ebay's three year search, and none show up in other patch venues online that I can find.
