Condition and Provenance:

The patch was found along with other 1950's items from a Scout.  It is woven, and has no glue, no staple marks, etc.    Please see the scans for details on how much wear there is.   The 1955 date is taken from an AI analysis.  We can all take that for what it's worth.  I am not an expert, but it fits in with the documented dates of the collection.

The item is difficult to find.  None show up in ebay's three year search, and none show up in other patch venues online that I can find.
