New, but the box isn't in that great of shape, you can see clear wear on the corners and a rip in the lower right hand corner that is unmistakably noticeable.  I gave the rest of the Kickstarter to one of my adult sons when he left home on his own for his fledgling D&D group to have minis to use, but kept this box for my own.  It's sat in storage in a garage since the Kickstarter with plans to "Paint it one day", but that day never came as much I wanted to get this done as a showcase set.  Now it's for sale, priced with a starting bid that represents my idea of what something like this new but with a box that could be in better shape would start out for someone who wants to have for their own collection of such things or maybe to paint for themselves.  Looks like a a great project to get lost in and for sure would be a conversation starter if you ever got around to painting the whole set up.  Would also look pretty cool in an aquarium, but I think that about a lot of these mini-terrain sets.
