Blue Ice Harfang Mono Crampons - Compact Monopoint Mountaineering

The Blue Ice Harfang Mono Crampons are ultra-compact monopoint crampons for technical mountaineering. A horizontal single-point version of the Harfang Alpine, the Mono swaps the standard front rail for one asymmetric chromoly steel point, so you get precise placements on mixed ground without losing stability on snow and ice. Blue Ice call it the most compact monopoint crampon on the market, and the patented central textile strap linking front and rear sections is why: the whole crampon folds down to almost nothing in the pack. It fits mountaineering boots with toe and heel welts using automatic or semi-automatic attachment, and adding the standard toe bail makes it ski-boot compatible. Choose the Mono for big mountaineering objectives and technical alpine routes where a full mixed-climbing crampon is overkill but a standard 12-point isn't precise enough. Why you'll love it Precise on mixed ground – single asymmetric chromoly steel front point Stable on snow and ice – keeps the stability you need on snow and ice Folds tiny – patented central textile strap for an ultra-compact fold Two attachment options – automatic and semi-automatic Good to know Compatible with mountaineering boots with toe and heel welts Add the standard toe bail for ski boot compatibility Horizontal monopoint version of the Blue Ice Harfang Alpine Who it's for Advanced mountaineers and ice climbers on technical alpine routes who want monopoint precision in an ultra-compact crampon.
