Welcome to The Model Mule, where model kits are more than inventory. They’re a hobby we genuinely enjoy.
We specialize in buying and selling plastic model kits of all kinds, from aircraft, armor, ships, and cars to vintage, rare, discontinued, and hard-to-find kits. Our inventory is constantly changing as we purchase collections from modelers across the country.

Payment
We accept all payment methods available through eBay's secure checkout.
Payment is required at the time of purchase for Buy It Now items. For auction purchases, please complete payment within the timeframe provided by eBay.
Sales tax, when applicable, is calculated and collected directly by eBay.

Combined Shipping:
I will combine shipping to the best of my ability, so shop away! If you're purchasing multiple kits, I'll do my best to package them together safely and save you money on shipping whenever possible.
Shipping Schedule:
I typically ship every Saturday. However, I will always try to get your order out sooner if I can make it to the post office during the week.
International Shipping:
International orders are handled through eBay International Shipping. International shipping costs and applicable import fees are calculated and determined by eBay based on the buyer's location and order. Unfortunately, these charges are outside of The Model Mule's control.

Returns
I want you to be happy with your purchase from The Model Mule. If there is ever an issue with your order, please reach out to me through eBay and I will do my best to make it right.
Returns are accepted in accordance with the return policy shown on the eBay listing. Items should be returned in the same condition in which they were received.
Please review all photos and the item description carefully before purchasing, especially when buying vintage or previously owned model kits. Box wear, opened packaging, or other condition issues will be shown or noted whenever possible.

Do you combine shipping?
Absolutely! I will combine shipping to the best of my ability, so shop away. When multiple kits can be safely packaged together, I’ll do my best to help you save on shipping.
When will my order ship?

Do you ship internationally?

Are the model kits complete?
Please refer to the individual listing description and photos for the condition of each kit. Many of the models I sell come from collections and may be older, opened, or previously owned. Unless specifically stated that a kit has been inventoried, I cannot guarantee that every individual part is present.
Is the box in perfect condition?
Not always. Many of these kits have spent years, and sometimes decades, in modelers’ collections. Boxes may show shelf wear, creases, fading, writing, tape, or other signs of age. I do my best to photograph the actual kit so you can judge the condition before purchasing.
Is the item pictured the exact item I will receive?
Unless otherwise stated in the listing, the photos are of the actual model kit being sold.

Do you buy model kit collections?
Yes! The Model Mule is always looking to purchase model kit collections, from a handful of kits to very large collections. If you have a collection you're considering selling, send me a message through eBay.
Can you help me find a particular model?
Feel free to ask. The Model Mule has a large and constantly changing inventory, so I may have something that hasn't been listed yet.
