Over the coming months, I'll be having a huge clear out of items gathered over many years. Selected items from my home, together with the contents of my shed, attic and storage spaces, all have to go. Once they are gone, they are gone.

An unusual and characterful original naïve painting by artist GEW, depicting a nude female figure.

The painting is signed GEW and dated by the artist, and is executed on stretched canvas. The work appears to be painted in acrylic.

The paintings in this series have a wonderfully distinctive and unconventional style, with simplified figures, strong colours, unusual compositions and imaginative settings. There is something particularly individual about the way the artist has approached the human figure and the surrounding landscape.

This is an original, one-of-a-kind painting.

Canvas size: approximately 10 x 12 inches (25.5 x 30.5cm).

The painting is unframed, as shown in the photographs.

The artwork is in good condition overall, with the usual minor signs of handling and age. Please study all of the photographs carefully, as they show the actual painting being offered and give a good indication of its condition, colours and overall appearance.

I have other original paintings by GEW listed separately on eBay, so please take a look at my other listings if you would like to see more work by the same artist.

A particularly unusual piece of contemporary naïve art, with plenty of character and visual individuality.
