Inscription written inside says 'Presented to Charles Walter Rands by the Methodist Sunday School, Springthorpe, Christmas 1937.'

The Bible is black with gold lettering and red/gold gilt edging to the pages. Does have some age related wear, some of the corners have wear, there is some creasing to the Front and back pages on the inside and some foxing which is mainly to the first page, a mark on Jeremiah 33 which shows through to the next page, the rest of the bible is actually very clean.
