Impressive Sony MHC-EC909iP Genezi Mini Hi-Fi Component System in excellent working condition, complete with the matching Sony speaker set and dedicated subwoofer.

This is one of Sony’s larger, more powerful mini Hi-Fi systems from the period, rated at 540W total RMS, with a big, punchy sound and the classic Genezi styling.

All functions have been fully tested and are working perfectly.

The three-speaker setup gives this system a much fuller sound than a basic two-speaker mini Hi-Fi, with the dedicated centre subwoofer adding plenty of low-end impact.

Condition

The system is in excellent used condition overall and presents very well.

There are only light signs of previous use, with the main point to note being a visible circular mark / discolouration on the top of the main unit, which can be clearly seen in the photos.

Aside from this cosmetic mark, the unit and speakers present extremely well.

Most importantly, the system has been fully tested and all functions are working correctly.

Important – Remote & Antenna Not Included

Please note that this sale does not include the remote control or antenna cable.

Both replacement remotes and antenna cables are generally available quite cheaply on eBay. Simply search:

The system itself is fully functional without the remote, and the radio has been tested and works correctly when used with a suitable antenna.

iPod / iPhone Dock

The front panel opens to reveal the original built-in 30-pin Apple dock, designed for compatible older-generation iPods and iPhones.

This is a nice period feature and adds to the retro appeal of the system.

Please note that modern Lightning or USB-C Apple devices would require an appropriate adapter or alternative connection method.
