A classic Epitonium scalare measuring 53.3mm, commonly known as the Precious Wentletrap. This highly recognizable species is prized by collectors for its extraordinary architecture and elegant ivory-white coloration.

This specimen displays the widely separated whorls joined by prominent, blade-like axial varices, creating the distinctive open, staircase-like appearance for which this species is famous. The strong development of the ribs is attractive when viewed form the aperture and basal angles.
