LOVER DOLL

b/w  NEW ORLEANS

"New Orleans" and "Lover Doll" are two songs recorded by Elvis Presley for the soundtrack of his 1958 musical film King Creole.

New Orleans: An upbeat, brass-inflected rock and roll track that sets the southern, vibrant mood of the film's setting.

Lover Doll: A playful, mid-tempo pop/rock tune where Elvis sings to his sweetheart as if she were a precious doll.

Both tracks were NEVER RELEASED ON 78 IN THE UK OR USA but were originally released in 1958 on the RCA Victor extended play (EP) and LP soundtrack albums for King Creole.
