This auction is for an 1890’s era cabinet photo that, based on the “crack” lines in the image, is probably an enlarged reprint of a Civil War Ambrotype. The photo shows Lt. Colonel Aaron Myer of the 125th New York Vol Infantry. Lt Col. Myer was killed at The Wilderness. The photo is mounted to its original 4 ¼” x 6 ½” mat board.
