A premium Japanese vinyl edition of Teresa Teng's second Chinese-language album, originally released on cassette by Polydor Japan in November 1979.
The album brings together recordings made for the "Island Love Songs" series released in Hong Kong, Taiwan and other regions beginning in 1975.
This collection features 20 songs, including Chinese-language versions of Teresa Teng's own hit songs as well as covers of popular Japanese enka and kayokyoku songs.
This release is part of Universal Music Japan's premium "100% Pure LP" series, designed to achieve exceptionally pure and detailed analog sound.
The records are pressed on uncolored virgin vinyl without the carbon coloring normally used in conventional vinyl records.
Metal Master Press technology is used to press the records directly from the metal master, eliminating intermediate production stages for highly accurate groove reproduction.
The album is presented across three 180g LPs at 45RPM, allowing wider grooves and improved sound reproduction compared with a conventional 33RPM LP.
The audio was newly transferred from the original analog master tapes and mastered from 96kHz/24bit WAV files with minimal processing to preserve the original dynamics and natural sound.
