Here's eight (8) small, hand-crafted cabs fashioned from natural gold-laden ore. For aficionados of native gold products, maybe they'll fit into some of your projects. If not satisfied, I offer a full refund once product is returned. The parent rocks were chosen for richness and gem-worthiness. Then, they're slabbed, shaped, and polished. Featured lot weighs 55.8 grains (Troy) - 18 carats (gem wt.) 
 
This is natural gold quartz, NOT simulated or synthetic (man-made) gold quartz. It comes from California, Colorado, Oregon, and Idaho.
 
A few years ago, one of my clients used these small cabs to do inlay for custom knife handles. Another artisan friend incorporated them into drinking cups. A creative soul might add them into any number of projects. They're very showy inside a water-filled vial and would make a great keepsake. Chances are they'll always be valuable.

During the great California gold rush, artisans fashioned the richest grades of ore mined from the Mother Lode into highly-decorative ornamental crafts and one-of-a-kind jewelry objects like cane and knife handles, walking sticks, snuff boxes, match safes, watch fobs, pistol grips, stick pins, rings, brooches, pendants, bracelets, et al. During the 1800s, the sky seems to have been the limit for creative applications. With the involvement of a precious metal, the effect of using GQ as decorative inlay is rather elegant.

As the operator/sole proprietor of Gold of Eldorado, I actively mined gold for 19 years. Beginning long ago, in a past life, perhaps, something in the golden mystique of this rare, precious metal attracted me to it. Searching for Au (gold), working with it in it's multitude of forms became my life-way. This passion fuels my desire to bring new discoveries and creations to your notice.
