This listing is for ONE display case containing a section of copper tubing recovered from the crash site of a World War 2 Spitfire. The wreckage (from a Mk XIV Supermarine Spitfire) was found in the south of England (sadly no more details came with the material). Serial numbers on several of the pieces in the collection have the 379 prefix, which indicates they are from a Mk XIV Spitfire that entered service in late 1943. This cut section of tubing was once a part of the engine.
