This is a 1996 softcover exhibition catalog titled Anishnaabek: Artists of Little Traverse Bay, edited by Marsha MacDowellwith photographs by Minnie Wabanimkee. Published jointly by the Michigan State University Museum and the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa, this beautifully illustrated volume documents the lives, traditions, and artwork of contemporary Anishinaabe (Odawa/Ojibwa) artists from northern Michigan. The publication served as both an exhibition catalog and an important cultural documentation project. 

The staple-bound softcover measures approximately 8½ x 11 inches and contains 74 pages filled with photographs, artist biographies, historical essays, and examples of traditional and contemporary Native American artwork.

Features

Artists represented include Frank Ettawageshik, Harriet Kishigo Booth, William Ray Kiogima, Loretta Parkey, Josephine Otto Adams, Lewis Adams, Charles Kavo, Richard Keller, Simon Otto, Doris Massey, and many other respected artists of the Little Traverse Bay Bands and neighboring Anishinaabe communities.
