I always am using a MZ-2000. In this time, I sell 16 bit board for MZ-2000.

All hard items are shown in photo 1, and I will attache 16bit BASIC cassetetape of backup.

Removing the Z-80A CPU of MZ-2000, set the Z-80A adapter of this 16 bit borad. And load a dedicated BASIC for 16 bit (attached). The operation codes are based on 8bit BASIC.

The operation are able to performed as attaeched photos. If you have graphic-ram 3 pages and color monitor, you can display the color image to the monitor.

Addition, this item was only salled at JAPAN in 1984(?).  Hence, the manual was issued in JAPANESE only. If you need the manual, I can send you the pdf image. This manual has many graphical images for setup, It will helpness for your operation.

SHARP MZ-2000 was produced in JAPAN 1982. It has Z-80A CPU (no wait 4MHz),  64kB RAM and full logic controlled casette deck. 

This 16 bit board condition is extremely rare, please add to your collection as historical heritage with functionable.
