A super elegant antique Victorian solid silver combination vesta / matchsafe , cheroot cutter and piercer by esteemed maker Henry William Dee, dated London 1868. With golden gilt interior and signed by the retailer 'Elkington Church Street, Liverpool'. A fine piece, complete with the removable piercer that slots into the back of the piece. Nice clean condition, some light scratches to the interior. Engraved with a Victorian monogram to the lid, possibly CT, looks like an ornate eye. Measures approximately 6.5cm x 3.5cm x 1cm.
