Starrett #C604RE-6" w/Read Ends, Tempered Steel, Satin Chrome, Near Mint Condition, Extremely light handling marks, Never Put Into Service. Sorry, No original Starrett box, but Starrett Red Vinyl Sleeve is original to this rule.

This tool was purchased by my old friend (of 45 years) the Starrett tool collectaholic, and as usual he never used it.
Out of hundreds of tools he only actually used about 2% of them. All of his tools were kept in a climate controlled, immaculate workshop. Most all of his tools were admired, fondled lightly once in a while, sometimes oiled lightly and inspected for storage wear. An admirer of finely crafted items, he was eclectic, eccentric, and a fastidious collector. This shop was like a tool museum!

I use terms like "Used", "Near Mint", "MIB"(mint in box), "MINT", "Never Been Used" and "Vintage" as honestly and literally as I know how.

I am still human (sort of) and capable of making mistakes and If you think I have incorrectly labelled or mis-described an item please let ME know, NOT eBay.
As always, I will happily refund your purchase amount in full if you are not happy for any reason with any item.

Hope you can use this well kept, well preserved rule!  Happy Bidding!
