This auction is for a very scarce souvenir pennant brought home by wealthy tourists who took an ocean liner cruise to Japan in 1940. The pennant has dimensions approximately 4” x 10” plus the purple & white silk ribbons on the left edge. The white text reads N.Y.K. LINE for Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha, and the cloth texture is like a finely hooked purple rug. The condition is Excellent. Please look at all the photos and ask any questions.
