A most likely full bottle of 50 syringe filters. The filters are individually blister packaged. The bottle was received here opened but was filled to the very top when obtained. The lot batch code on the filters visible from the outside of the bottle all match the code on the small sterilization and code stickers. Note that this was not checked for front-facing filters, nor was a filter count done, to avoid unnecessary handling of the potentially sterile units.

The inside of the bottle has a slight waxy odor. This may be due to age as the sterilization date is June 2002. The aging process may have created the odor (perhaps blister pack adhesive degradation?). However, note that the reason for the smell is not known with any certainty and therefore the suitability- of the filters for *any* particular use cannot be guaranteed. 

The filters are definitely not for any medical, or similar use, even when brand new. *For Lab Use Only*. Even though securely blister packaged, the sterility cannot be guaranteed as sterilization was done approximately 24 years ago.
