Designed specifically for space-constrained and thermal-sensitive configurations—such as the HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen10 when equipped with GPU enablement kits or secondary riser cages—this controller delivers uncompromised 12G throughput, 2GB Flash-Backed Write Cache (FBWC), and full enterprise RAID protection without physical obstruction.
"LH" Heatsink & System Compatibility Notice
- "LH" (Low Heatsink) Specification: This controller is the dedicated LH (Low-Profile Heatsink) edition. It is mandatory in dense 1U HPE ProLiant DL360 Gen10 configurations where a standard tall heatsink interferes with PCIe GPU cards, auxiliary cooling air baffles, or secondary riser assemblies.
- Modular Type-a (AROC) Form Factor: Fits directly into the dedicated Type-a mezzanine storage controller slot on compatible HPE Gen10 motherboards. It does NOT occupy a standard PCIe slot.
- Smart Storage Battery Requirement: Enabling write caching on the integrated 2GB FBWC module requires a centralized HPE Smart Storage Battery (e.g., P01366-B21 / 875241-001) connected to the motherboard. The battery is NOT included.
- Server Platform Support: Compatible with HPE ProLiant Gen10 servers including DL360 Gen10, DL380 Gen10, DL560 Gen10, and ML350 Gen10. Not backward compatible with Gen9 or Gen8 servers.
