This Arnart Creations vintage atomic mid-century modern ceramic boomerang ashtray is an incredible example of collectible 1950s-1960s decor featuring asymmetric freeform shapes and often gilded accents. Boomerangs were a very stylish form often found in both the home and in commercial venues.
The crossed-arrows mark and a four-digit mold/item number shows that this is a 1950s piece imported or distributed by Arnart Creations in the jet-age!
Arnart Creations was a prominent US importer and creator of decorative ceramics and porcelain based in Japan during the mid-20th century.
This example bought in the California about 40 years ago by the seller.
