However, stickers may not all be present or they may be worn, and some pieces may be worn or lightly damaged, though still functional (refer to FAQ for further information). We do our best to ensure that there is no sun damaged LEGO, but with age and use, there may be light discolouration of pieces, especially for vintage sets (refer to FAQ for further information). FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why does your listing style feel so familiar?
- We previously listed under a different account "cwieder28". Previous feedback can be found here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/user78922?_tab=feedback.
How are your items packaged for shipping?
- In general, LEGO items with an existing box are bubble wrapped and shipped in an industry standard cardboard shipping box with packing paper to fill any empty space. LEGO items without an existing box are shipped to the same standard. LEGO minifigures are shipped in a bubble padded large envelope.
Do you ship this item internationally?
- Yes! We ship internationally through the eBay Global Shipping Programme. Please refer to eBay's official website for more information.
Do you combine postage?
- Yes, if you purchase multiple items, eBay should give you the option for combined shipping on the checkout page. As shipping costs and arrangements are calculated automatically by eBay, please reach out to eBay directly if you have any issues.
Do you set the postage costs?
- No, we do not set the postage cost. The costs for each postage option is automatically determined by eBay and will always be a tracked service for record of delivery. The postage cost is calculated based on the size of the item and the service you have selected. We are only able to see the postage label generated by eBay after payment.
Are your LEGO items clean?
- Yes, all LEGO items have been washed and air dried before being sold. There is the possibility that some pieces may have dried watermarks on them. Do not worry, this is from the washing and disinfecting process and can be easily removed by rubbing a slightly wet cloth over it.
Does your LEGO item come from a smoke-free and pet-free home?
- Yes, this LEGO item has not come into contact with any smoke or pets.
I don't understand, is the item complete or not?
- Before listing any LEGO item, it is inventoried by hand. Any missing pieces detected during this process are replaced so the set is complete before being sold. There is the very small possibility, that due to human error, a set may contain pieces that are incorrect because they are similar colour or shape. If this is the case, please contact us, and we will check our inventory records for the set and swap the correct piece if we are at fault for the error. We will always endeavour to do right by our customer, unless the customer has malicious intent in seeking a refund or replacements.
What does "used condition" mean?
- Used condition refers to a LEGO item, or parts of a LEGO item that has been built to completion before. The items have been taken out from their original packaging and built for play or built for display over time. Instructions have been used and there may be crinkles, folds, marks or tears in the pages. The condition of the box is reflected in photos and may not be structurally sound.
Some of the stickers on the pieces in the set are missing or degraded in quality, is this normal?
- Yes, this is perfectly normal. Many of the sets sold are likely to have been produced 10+ years ago. There are a few reasons why the sticker is missing or no longer in perfect condition. Over time, the adhesive will weaken and the sticker may fall off. Over time, the sticker may also have become damaged or worn through display or use. The stickered piece might have been damaged and replaced, resulting in a piece without the sticker.
Some of the pieces in the LEGO item are degraded in quality, is this normal?
- Yes, this is perfectly normal. We have endeavoured to replace any pieces that are broken or damaged to the point that functionality is affected, during our inventory process. However, you may still find pieces that have very minor scuffs, scratches, hairline cracks or marks on them, which reflect the reality of a used LEGO item that has been displayed or used before. We try our best to ensure that all pieces sold are pieces that we would be happy to use ourselves. If a LEGO item explicitly contains a piece that is damaged and included as part of the item, it will be stated in the description.
What do you mean by possible discolouration of pieces?
- Over time, the dye used in various iteration of LEGO bricks may fade due to UV and environmental exposure, slightly altering the colour or shade. This is a natural process that should be expected in some pieces with age. In terms of sun damaged pieces (for example, white pieces that have yellowed drastically due to prolonged UV exposure), we aim to replace these pieces to ensure that the LEGO item does not contain any pieces with sun damage.
Can I have more photos or information of/about a particular LEGO item?
- Yes! Feel free to send us a message with your request if it helps you determine if the LEGO item is right for you.
