Martin D-18 – 1998
A remarkably clean 1998 Martin D-18, featuring the classic pre-2012 Standard Series specifications. This traditional dreadnought combines a spruce top with mahogany back and sides, mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard and bridge.
It features standard non-scalloped X-bracing, a maple bridge plate, 42.9 mm nut width, and 25.4-inch scale. The spruce top also displays some attractive bearclaw-like figuring.
Condition: Used - Excellent (A). Despite its age, this guitar is exceptionally clean and shows almost no significant playing wear. Only two minor cosmetic marks are specifically noted: a tiny approximately 2 mm mark beside the bridge on the bass side of the top and an approximately 2 cm string-like scratch near the 3rd-string tuner on the headstock.
