Obverse: KAIΣAP ΣEBASTOΣ ("Caesar Sebastos" Translation~ Caesar Augustus [sebastos is a translation of the Latin title 'Augustus', meaning "venerable" or "worthy of reverence."
]). Laureate head of Augustus right.
Reverse: ΘEΣΣAΛO/NIKEΩN ~ Translation: THESSALONIKI ~ in two lines within laurel wreath.
History: Octavian, after becoming Augustus, used only the titles "Caesar" & "Augustus" in lieu of Octavian~titles which later rulers would use along with their name.
