This beautiful porcelain plaque of the Queen of Roses artist signed Wagner.
This painting on porcelain has a lovely lady with roses and a bow on her hat.
The artist Wagner is known to have painted beautiful women on porcelain plates and plaques. When you look at this plaque, you can see how very talented of an artist he was. This painting on porcelain was probably painted in the 1890s-1900.
The porcelain plaque is entitled Queen of Roses on its back. It is in a lovely gilt frame.
Framed the plaque is 9 inches wide by 11 inches tall. Unframed, the plaque is 4 inches wide and 5 3/4 inches tall.
The porcelain plaque is in very good condition. The original gilded frame has some losses to the bottom, as you can see in the pictures.
This is a beautiful, rare museum quality porcelain plaque. Impressed and painted marks to back, see photos.
The impressed mark is that of Carl Magnus Hutschenreuther. Needs a cleaning, a recent attic find.
