Because this is a pre-owned replacement earbud, it may still
be associated with the previous owner's Apple Account
for the Find My app.
This does not prevent the earbud from being used for audio.
However, you may not be able to add this earbud to your own Find My account
unless it has been removed from the previous owner's Apple Account.
IMPORTANT: GENERATION MISMATCH
When using a pre-owned replacement earbud, your iPhone may initially
identify the earbud as the wrong generation.
This does not mean you received the wrong item.
Resetting your AirPods should clear the generation
mismatch warning. Please see Reset instructions below.
HOW TO RESET YOUR AIRPODS
1. Forget your original AirPods
Go to Settings → Bluetooth.
2. Tap the More Info (ⓘ) button
Tap the More Info button next to your AirPods.
3. Forget This Device
Scroll to the bottom, tap Forget This Device, and confirm.
4. Place both earbuds in the charging case
Close the lid and connect the case to power.
5. Charge for at least 30 minutes
6. Reset the AirPods
Disconnect the charging cable, open the lid, and press and hold the setup
button on the back of the case until the status light flashes white.
7. Reconnect your AirPods
When the setup animation appears, tap Connect.
If the setup animation does not appear within approximately 10 seconds,
close and reopen the case lid.
