Up for sale is this classic retro collectable "Maxwell" piggy bank, originally issued by the National Westminster Bank in the 1980s to encourage children to save.
Designed by Alan Maslankowski, Maxwell is the teenage "big brother" character of the iconic piggy family. He is beautifully crafted from glazed ceramic, featuring his signature bright blue trousers with braces, hands tucked in his pockets, and a red-and-white striped necktie.
