A properly useful walk-around zoom for Canon APS-C DSLRs. 17mm is genuinely wide and 85mm gets you in close, so it covers most of what you would shoot in a day without changing lenses. Ring-type ultrasonic (USM) autofocus is fast and near silent, and the Image Stabilizer buys you two to three stops handheld.

CONDITION

This is an EF-S lens, so it fits Canon APS-C DSLRs only:

- Rebel / xxxD series such as 1300D, 2000D, 250D, 600D, 700D, 800D

- xxD series such as 50D, 60D, 70D, 80D, 90D

- 7D and 7D Mark II

It will NOT fit full-frame Canon bodies (5D, 6D, 1D series) or 35mm film EOS cameras. It can be used on Canon EOS M and EOS R bodies with the relevant Canon EF-EOS M or EF-EOS R adapter (adapter not included).
