An Official Universal Studios Harry Potter souvenir, purchased at Universal Beijing Resort. A particularly distinctive and hard-to-find Chocolate Frog keyring — to the best of my knowledge, this specific design is sold at Universal Studios Beijing and Universal Orlando, rather than the more commonly seen UK versions.
Designed like the iconic Chocolate Frog hexagonal box, with detailed raised/relief decoration, gold-tone lettering and blue-and-white enamel detailing. The keyring opens like a little locket to reveal a full-size Chocolate Frog replica inside, sitting on an ornate blue-and-gold base.
The frog and base are enclosed by three magnetic closures, and the whole piece is solid metal, making it feel much more substantial and elaborate than a typical souvenir keyring.
One of my favourite details is the ornate base inside, which looks just like the Famous Witches and Wizards Trading Card that comes with the Chocolate Frog in the Harry Potter universe. It appears to be fixed in place, so unfortunately which wizard is underneath is a mystery ✨🪄
