Poster is in displayable condition, has some tears and foxing I've shown in photos but all is hidden by the matting minus the small spots shown from the front. Still holds together well for the age. There are 3 total signatures on the reverse of the poster. One appears to be an ink signature of a J. W. White. Mr. White appears to have been a rather high ranking employee of the SAL shortley after it's merger. It appears to be either old foundation or drop pen, in the same cluster there are also two pencil signatures that I was unable to trace. The poster is copyright 1900 by John A. Lowell & co. Boston Massachusetts.

J. W. White was an industrial agent for the railroad located in Portsmouth Virginia and dated  1902 in company records. Portsmouth was also the headquarters of the SAL early in it's post merger life. Any questions or picture needs just ask and I'll get back to you as soon as possible
